Monarchs Win Versus Gators Elite

Tiras Morton scored 17 points to lead Monarchs to a 66-57 victory over Gators Elite on Saturday. Claiming a 37-28 lead at the half, Monarchs pulled ahead early in the game. Morton was on the ball for Monarchs, making 67% (6-for-9) of shots attempted and hitting 80% (4-for-5) of free throws attempted.

Two other players also added ten or more points for Monarchs. M'Elijah Wesley had 14 points and Noah Fultz contributed 11 points. Also helping the effort for Monarchs were Jordan Johnson (5 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals), Carlos Rocha (5 points, 3 rebounds), Cameron Bell (5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals), Calvin Williams (4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks), and Aaron Lane (2 points). Wesley was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up 14 rebounds and two blocks.

Monarchs finished the game with 41 rebounds (10 offensive / 31 defensive), eight blocks and five steals.
