Monarchs Emerge Victorious Against HCI Storm Black

Monarchs won 78-43 against HCI Storm Black on Sunday with the help of M'Elijah Wesley, who scored 17 points. Claiming a 36-21 lead at the half, Monarchs put up points early in the game. Wesley found success all over the court for Monarchs, making 55% (6-for-11) of shots attempted while also sinking 83% (5-for-6) of free throws attempted.

Diamante Johnson (17 points), Noah Fultz (11 points), and Jordan Johnson (10 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Monarchs were Tiras Morton (6 points, 5 rebounds), Aaron Lane (5 points, 3 rebounds), Cameron Bell (5 points, 2 rebounds), Calvin Williams (4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal), and Carlos Rocha (3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal). Fultz was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up eight rebounds and four steals.

Monarchs finished the game with 31 rebounds (9 offensive / 22 defensive), one block and 12 steals.
