Monarchs Beat Basketball University 17U

Jordan Johnson scored 21 points to lead Monarchs to a 68-60 victory over Basketball University 17U on Friday.

With a 27-25 lead at the half, Monarchs pulled ahead early in the game.

Monarchs's Johnson hit 9-for-12 (75%) shots from the floor.

Two other players also scored in the double digits for Monarchs. Calvin Williams put up 12 points and M'Elijah Wesley contributed 10 points. Also chipping in for Monarchs were Tiras Morton (9 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals), Aaron Lane (7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), Diamante Johnson (4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block), and Carlos Rocha (3 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal).

Monarchs finished the game with 55 rebounds (19 offensive / 36 defensive), three blocks and 11 steals.
