Monarchs Emerge Victorious Against Talons Elite

Calvin Williams's 31 points propelled Monarchs to a 74-61 victory over Talons Elite on Thursday.

Monarchs had an early scoring surge, claiming a 32-30 lead at the half.

Williams shot well from the field, making 73% (11-for-15) of shots attempted as well as 70% (7-for-10) of threes attempted.

Jordan Johnson made it into double digits, scoring 19 points for Monarchs (6-for-11). Also chipping in for Monarchs were Aaron Lane (6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), M'Elijah Wesley (5 points, 15 rebounds, 2 blocks), Tiras Morton (5 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals), and Diamante Johnson (3 points, 1 rebound).

Monarchs finished the game with 37 rebounds (10 offensive / 27 defensive), three blocks and seven steals.
