The unheralded group consisting of all central Texas kids showed out and put on a balanced scoring display. Sharp-shooting guard Cayden Doyle (Hays HS/2020) exploded for a 30pt performance in their 71-66 win over Texas Pride Elite. He showed accuracy and range from the perimeter, added three treys in his performance. Tiras Morton (Hays HS/2019)picked up the scoring lead in their “W” over Team Premiere, collecting 17 points. Athletic guard Calvin Williams (Austin HS/2019) was impactful in more ways than one. Served as the catalyst in their 15 point win over GATA Cru. He uses his athleticism very well to attack the paint and hoop, off the dribble. He’s long, wiry, and an explosive leaper who will thunder it down. His outside jump shot caught our eye as it was significantly more consistent this weekend. When on defense, very good lateral movement, hounds the ball, and uses his athleticism and quickness to constantly be a threat in the passing lanes.
