Monarchs Defeat Come Get This Work

Although M'Elijah Wesley put 24 points, five rebounds, three steals and seven blocks on the scoreboard, Come Get This Work fell to Monarchs 87-73.

Monarchs trailed early, 46-38 by the half, only to come back strong in the final two quarters. Both Come Get This Work and Monarchs played hard, with 22 and 21 personal fouls, respectively.

Wesley was on the ball for Monarchs, making 77% (10-for-13) of shots attempted and hitting 80% (4-for-5) of free throws attempted.

Calvin Williams hit double digits, scoring 15 points for Monarchs (5-for-11). Tiras Morton (16 points) and Cameron Bell (6 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Monarchs were Jordan Johnson (9 points, 3 rebounds), Carlos Rocha (8 points, 4 rebounds), Noah Fultz (4 points, 5 rebounds), Aaron Lane (3 points, 3 rebounds), and Diamante Johnson (2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block).

Monarchs finished the game with 39 rebounds (16 offensive / 23 defensive), 10 blocks and eight steals.
